Please help me out, fellow experienced basenoters, and see what type of scents I may be missing. I'm pretty sure I have the "fresh" scent down. Got a powdery/peppery one down with Bulgari..at least it smells peppery/powdery on me.

I think you are lacking a "powerhouse/distinguished" scent:

Chanel Antaeus, or Van Cleef pour homme are two great candidates.

How about one of them "gourmand" scents? You may want to try Rochas Man, A* Men/B*Men, or even YSL M7 (I know its not gourmand but it does comes off a bit "sweet" because of the oud - still, excellent stuff)
