Obsession Night for men ... worth it?
Question:
I know this one has been discussed briefly around here ... but I was looking for some opinions of anyone who wears (or has worn) this regularly. It's gotten mixed reviews in the directory. However, two things discussed seem to meet my criteria for it ... A) It doesn't smell like the original (which I don't care for) and B) some say it's good for daytime wear.
I've never even sampled it, so any experiences or thoughts would be appreciated.

Answer:
Only tried it once and found it synthetic-orangey of all things, with nothing nocturnal about it. But it was a very brief encounter. I should try it again tonight, actually.

Answer:
bought it online when it was not yet available in Belgium...Whish I didn't...On my skin it lasts about an half hour....and very smooth smell, practically not noticable... but again, that is on my skin..
tried it again two days ago, but no changes...:-(
Back in the closet 4good !
But you should def. try it before you but it !
Regards,
Renz

Answer:
Night is nothing like the orginal. It smells pretty woody and spicy sweet, but does not last long on me too. Try before you buy.

Answer:
i really like the scent (in terms of composition) to me it is milky and spicy with a pronounced coconut accord...
but....
it is fleeting, absolutely NO LONGEVITY....
cheers

Answer:
My experience is that it lasts all day on me. Rare for a scent these days. Most are so fleeting. I really like the suede and woody notes with a bit of vanilla. It's one of my new favorites. I plan to buy a new bottle this week-end as I am almost out of my current bottle.

Answer:
IMO, No..

Answer:
OK I tried it again. It's totally misnamed IMO. Obession Hawaii would be closer to the mark. It's very synthetic (in a cheap way) with orange and fruit in the top, lots of coconut, a bit of woods and vanillin. Extremely poor longevity, which I find a good thing in this case .

I agree that it should be named Obsession Hawaii, has much coconut, woods, and vanilla, and has very poor longevity. But I do love it. Description is pretty accurate here.

Answer:
The pear in the top notes is very prominent but the drydown never appears because of the -is it already mentioned ? - very poor longevity.
Another example of a -not -so -succesful- blid -buy...
