SL Rousse vs Feminite du Bois
Question:
SL Rousse is now available to be purchased up here and I sampled it on myself today. On me, it smells remarkably like the Shiseido Feminite du Bois. I'm not surprised, since they both share the same notes, predominantly cinnamon and wood notes (although different wood notes) and both are from Shiseido (and probably the same creator?) At the initial spray of the Rousse, I did detect a blast common to other SLs that I have sampled. But after the drydown, I must confess, unless I were to compare them side by side, on me, I can't tell the difference. Rousse smells the same as Feminite. Did anyone else experience the same with these two fragrances? Can you tell the difference? Answer: Rousse will hit the stores in april in the US but I had a small spray sample, like you I thought the drydown reminded me of Feminite du Bois. I expected Rousse to be more exhuberant and foody or candied (like Cedre or Bois et Fruits) but none of that, it s very refined and elegant past the first top notes and I love its enigmatic and sensual understated qualities, definitely my next purchase, oh I just can 't wait! I was at Barneys on Madison last thursday and they didn 't have it...yet Answer: Originally Posted by dimples SL Rousse is now available to be purchased up here and I sampled it on myself today.
