Romeo Gigli!
Question:
How have I missed this one! I happened on the reviews of RG in the Directory a few days ago and was intrigued by the universally good reviews. So what's a BN'r in Los Angeles to do? Head down to the Fashion District to find a sample, that's what. The first shop I walked into only had minis that they let my smell and I was instantly impressed! But I wanted a big bottle. The second shop I walked into had quite a few 2.7 oz testers that were mysteriouisly 75-80% full. The were only $12! Talk about a no brainer! What a great sent! I also found another shop selling quit a few Annick Goutal's. I bought a 1.7 oz bottle of Grand Amor EDP (in a box) for my GF for $31! Answer: Sounds like quite a memorable day, Romeo Gigli uomo (to be precise) was my first signature fragrance. I havn't been without a bottle in 20 something years. Gigli also has a woodier product named Sud est di Gigli. It's like walking through a pine forest during harvest season, but first a word of caution. Even though it is an EdT, it is 3 times stronger than any EdP I've ever known. Get it quickly because it (like most well made frags) has been discontinued, but still available. \/ \/ \/ Answer: I love all of Romeo Gigli scents, especially Gigli Man,yep, I agree, they are quite strong, quality all the way, especially with the low prices. You might also want to try Gai Mattiolo Uomo. Answer: This is a great choice! They have it at Perfumes for Less on Westwood Blvd. (or at least they used to)..... Answer: Today I found this by accident and because I remembered this recent thread I paid attention and got a bottle very cheaply. Very strange bottle - like a drugstore cologne, you would not even think it is from a designer house. Not cheap, just not trying to pretend it's high clss or something. And took me a while to figure out how to open the cap. Will spend time exploring the smell. But I can tell it's nothing green as the color f the juice. Answer: Bought the 1.7 ounce bottle of Romeo Gigli per Uomo this afternoon at a fragrance store in Memphis. Like this stuff alot!! Love the civet.
