There's plenty of good smelling people here, it's just not as common as in, say, San Francisco. It's a beautiful city, and definitely worth a visit, for many reasons. I'm not saying there's not an "earthy" type of vibe in a lot of places, but that's a good thing in my opinion. It's one of the healthiest cities in the country. I was just kidding, I realize that most people don't stink in Portland...lol... I'm sure it's quite lovely there, fresh air, and beautiful surroundings, but your last post was your interpretation of how people smell there, not mine.

Answer:
Le Male, A*Men and Pi are ubiquitous.
I rarely, if ever, notice anything from the more in-your-face niche houses like Serge Lutens or MPG.

Answer:
Le Male and anything by Hugo Boss, by a mile.
As for the second part of the question, anything niche in general. Although I swear I smelt someone wearing L'Air on the underground the other day. I wasn't especially happy about that!

Answer:
I always check out The Perfume House. They always include nice samples with your order. They give you more than a dozen sometimes. When I say nice, I mean - Serge Lutens, Amouage, Rance, Caron, Annick Goutal, Molinard, Henry Dunay,.... You get the picture.
