Rare (for others) scents, widely available at your local market?
Question:
It seems that sometimes fragrances that are hard to find near you, they can be easily purchased in other places and vice-versa.Some rarities I usually see at my local market are
Trussardi scents (like Uomo) ,
Christian Lacroix (Tumulte),
Kiton, etc.
Others like Nemo by Cacharel or Heaven by Chopard are not that unusual in Germany and some state that Havana by Aramis is a common sight in S. Africa( I am not sure if this is the place).
So,unveil the hidden gems that are available near you!

Answer:
There's a scent shop here that carries Atkinson's, and a friend in Florida is forever sending me there to buy her I Coloniali Aromatic Fragrance of Javanese Cananga, and other Atkinson's items. The same shop also carries Caswell Massey and -- although CM is really not EXTREMELY hard to find -- it's really, really nice to have a local retailer who carries the full line, all the way from Tricorne to Jockey Club to Casma.
There's another perfume shop not too far away from my house from that often has hidden gems. I never know what to expect there, though, as the stock changes often. I've found old stock Van Cleef & Arpels Pour Homme there, as well as my signature scent (i.e., Léonard Pour Homme). I hope to walk in there someday and stumble across a twenty year old sealed bottle of the original Burberry's for Men, but I doubt seriously that that will likely happen. (It's more plausible to hope that, come Christmas Eve, purple hippopotami will land on my rooftop and dance the Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairies.)

Answer:
I get slightly bemused at the rarity of M7 Fresh in the States when it is available in every airport in Europe I've ever visited.
That said, I bemoan the scarcity of Havana, New West and JHL over here.

Answer:
From South Africa - Havana readily available...on my swap list.

Answer:
Opium pour Homme is not found in the dept. stores around here. I manage to find it at a local Ross clothing store and it was quite a shock, because I looked for it everywhere.
Massive amounts of Ck products in the dept. stores, though.

Answer:
It's relatively easy to get Jil Sander, Bogner, René Lezard and Etienne Aigner in Germany. And 4711 (blech). And as I mentioned elsewhere numerous Creeds are always on ebay. In Frankfurt I can get just about any niche, including Malle, at full retail of course. There's even a (furniture and style) place that happens to carry demeter.

Answer:
someone get me some Jean Patou Pour Homme! Please! I know it's out there!

Answer:
I had looked for Opium PH EDP on the net and couldn't find it anywhere. Then, last week, I walked into a local department store and there it was on the shelf. Needless to say I crabbed it instantly!! It is quite baffling what is available where.
I, also, really want Jean Patou PH.
cheers
