Question:
Ok guys.. Have you ever given yourself a good old spray with one of your frags just before a night out and then changed your mind and wished that you had put one of your other scents on?
This happens a lot with me..
The other night there was 10 mins to go before the cab arrived and i was already spritzed up with Rive Gauche.. I had sprayed myself everywhere including the shirt i had on..
I really wished id used Terre D Hermes..
A frantic wash and change of top was needed in the 10 minuted to spare!!!!
I managed it.. But what a carry on.. My partner just stood there in disbelief!!
Anyone else ever have this?

Not really, I tend to decide the day before what my day frag will be and if I am planning to go out or got a gig I tend to dedide this ahead as well based on the occasion..

I did this same exact thing, this past Tuesday morning.
First time sample of Scherrer 2 by Jean Louis Scherrer, I liberally doused myself with only to realize that the opening is a FLOWERY BLAST. That morning I needed to go to the Bulk Mail unit of the Post Office for my job (instead of going to my regular office), and I imagined standing in line at this dirty gritty bulk mail unit with postal workers, deliverymen and such - literally reeking of oriental flowers.
The drydown (about an hour later) saved me (it turned into a nice candied lemon smell), but I was ultra embarassed at the Post Office

I've done that many times, I get tired of certain scents quickly, even while wearing them, but once I had bought "Wild Fig, by Henri Bendel, and spritzed it on with wild abandon. It was the first time wearing this fragrance, and little did I know that it was extremely sweet, strong & coconutty. (none of my favorite things) I reeked, I couldn't stand myself, to tell the truth, so I could only imagine what others were thinking.
I did the same thing with Amarige, when I was into it, overkill to the nth degree. A manager of a health food store, sniffed me down, and basically told me to leave the store, or he would throw up...how rude...lol...
I've also worn one fragrance, and wished I had worn another many times, but what can you do? When I tried to spray something over the first one, the combo was even worse. Phew!!!

Many times I would even leave the house. At work, I would wonder, what the heck, what was I thinking at the time! Too late then!
