Non-chemical perfumes - Page 2
Question:
Natural perfumers do not use the petro products you noted, nor the BB alcohol. With few exceptions, they use organic alcohol, derived from either corn or grape. Some natural oils are sensitizing, and a patch test is always recommended. Savvy natural perfumers are aware of the phototoxic or sensitizing oils, and keep below the recommended minimums. Natural perfumes are, to the best of my knowledge, never pointed out as a culprit in respiratory problems. To find some natural perfumers, visit http://naturalperfumery.com and click on the sites. There are sample programs in place. If you live near LA, there are three natural perfumery stores within driving distance. There's Blunda, Strange Invisible Perfumes and Le Bijou (all on np.com). HTH Thanks for the response. It would be nice to possibly check those stores out when I'm in California next year. Copyright ? 2006 - 2007 www.thankhealth.com Privacy Policy
