Elizabethan Rose or something with lavender I was talking about this the other day. Does anyone know what barley water is and why someone would smell like it? Was it like something for the skin?

Shocking!
I was thinking Victorian Posy, though I have never sniffed this. Or maybe Bluebell.
Perhaps something sweet like Hanae Mori's Butterfly.
Or, eegad, Aimez Moi, which conjures the kitchen and sitting room, and since this (along with Tabac Blond!) is one of my Holy Grails, does this mean I am in fact Mary Poppinesque? Yes, it does!

Blue Sugar.
Why would you care what a celebrity/character wears? It's the same type of thing that makes paparazzis successful.
- Rich Oh, no! The paparazzis are going to go after Mary Poppins! What have I done? Oh, brother. It's a free country and I'll post what I want to post.

Answer:
I feel sure Mary Poppins would wear vanilla extract from the kitchen. Her personal chemistry would make it fresh, clean, complex, floral, earthy, woody, spicy, musky, fruity, ambery, and herbal by turns, and everyone would ask "What is that amazing perfume????" Each person would be picking up the notes they most preferred, by magic. And Mary Poppins would smile dismissively saying "Oh, that's just a bit of vanilla from the kitchen!"

Have you read the books? Something about the way she comes through in the books definitely says Tabac Blond to me... definitely not all sugary, and she seriously called the shots in that household!

Just what I was about to say. She's very subversive, I think. Very Tabac Blond.

Answer:
Great suggestions everybody! And you're right about Mary, she was in charge. Which is one reason why I like her so much!

Answer:
I love that thread, found it just today and agree completely upon Tabac Blond! Her smile isn't that innocent at all...

Answer:
She was a sneaky one!
