Which Scent Have You Worn The Longest Amount Of Time & Which One Was A Quickie? - Page 3
Question:
Chanel no 19 is truly a long lasting love for me since I wore it in high school and rediscovered it and love it/appreciate it even more now. It is interesting to note that 19 is mentioned several times here. Quickies since my reawakening into frags are Angel and Carnal Flower. While I know I will go back to Carnal Flower (an expensive affair, that one!), Angel has lost her lustre for me. It was good while it lasted! There are some other very solid loves for me, but since I still consider myself such a newbie after less than 6 months since my newfound interest in frags, I will hold off on naming them for now. Answer: Another mention for Chanel No. 19. Hubby chose this perfume as a present for me about 9-10 years ago and luckily I loved it. No.19 always smells great and is such a positive fragrance. Shortly before discovering Basenotes I was looking for some other types of scents that I might like and bought a bottle of Ghost Cherish. Really liked it at first but after a month my interest waned. Was quite a good starting point though because I have since discovered that I often like rose/violet in scents and usually dislike freesia, all of which are in Cherish. Answer: I wore With Love... Hilary duff and Happy heart for the longest My shortest affair was Versace Bright crystal. literally 2 weeks.. Answer: Everlasting: - Givenchy Amarige and Extravagance (since 1996) - Eau de Givenchy (since 1997) - Poeme (since 1998) - Stella (since whenever it came out) - Miss Dior Cherie (ditto) Fleeting Love Affairs: - Bvlgari Blv (lasted about 2 days) - Bvlgari Black (maybe 3 days) - Moschino Couture (1 week) - YSL Nu (2 weeks) Answer: Longest Opium since it came out and all the summer ones and Chanel Gardenia since they reintroduced it. Many I have bought one bottle of liked but did not rebuy.Has to be amazing to keep buying, maybe that is just me> Answer: Evergreens I love: L'air du temps, Le dix, Fleurs de rocaille, 1000 Patou, Diorissimo, Chanel 5- The last quickly affair: Garofano Villoresi, only 5 minutes, the time to go at lavatory & rinse twice! Bleah! Answer: Welcome on board, nyneve! Nice to have you here. Villoresi is, well, hrm, hrm *special*...I wholeheartedly agree. Answer: Originally Posted by musse Welcome on board, nyneve! I've been wearing her since 1993. If I had to, I could forsake all others for her, but I'm so glad I don't have to. Answer: I've been wearing Chanel No.19 since I was 21 (I am 30 now), so this is my longest "relationship" with a perfume ever. I've also worn Happy for about a year, Premier Jour and JPG, too. Neither of them can I wear now! Other perfumes are just brief encounters and short-living infatuations that never last. Copyright ? 2006 - 2007 www.thankhealth.com Privacy Policy
