Mugler Cologne EDP?
Question:
Is Cologne a EDP? Is it a EDP Splash? Whats the difference between a EDP Splash and a EDT? (The official TM site says it's a EDP) M Answer: Mugler Cologne is an eau de parfum. It comes with a top that is a sort of "shaker" splash that can be removed and replaced with the enclosed sprayer - it's the user's choice. It only comes in that one concentration. Eau de parfum is, as a rule, more concentrated that eau de toilette. However, some eaux de toilette can be terrifically long-lasting, while some eaux de parfum can be very fleeting. The best way to find out a scent's longevity is, of course, to test it on yourself. Answer: Quote: Originally Posted by Serpent Mugler Cologne is an eau de parfum. Doesn't say on the bottle, but I would have said it's an EdT at best and EdC at worst based on longevity and sillage. Answer: Let me see if I have my box. It's a recent purchase of mine, and I believe it says so there... ETA: The Mugler website does read "eau de parfum." And, for me, Mugler Cologne has some crazy longevity and pretty decent sillage, at least for the first few hours. After wearing a true eau de cologne (like Guerlain's Eau Impériale, which I once owned), I can testify that Mugler Cologne is most definitely not an eau de cologne. Answer: I dont know about its concentration, but that stuff lasts a long long time. Mugler Cologne, EDP what a paradoxical name for an EdP fragrance.
