Do your colleagues smell nice? - Page 3
Question:
Where I work only two guys wear perfume and one over applies a very strong scent. Some of the girls wear perfume too but they are on another floor and they wear rather standard scents 80īs scents. This can be good but I think they should try something else for a change. I really stand out because I wear perfume and I like to mix it up a little, so one week its only Lolita L and then its Kenzo Amour. This way you get compliments nearly every day. Itīs nice Alot of the guys at work here donīt even use deodorant strangely enough. Because of the scent free zones, I'm very self-conscious when it comes to using fragrances in public. No one at my workplace wears fragrances at all during the day -- they'll only wear them at night if they go out. My preference is to choose and wear frags that have little sillage and to wear them close to me. They are for my own enjoyment. Having said that, in the evenings, I spray to my heart's content and only my poochies complain. Actually, they do avoid me when I over-spray.... the little devils that they are. Sometimes I even have some fun and spray a tiny bit on them Answer: I don't have colleagues anymore, but when i had them, the men almost always smelled bad, or had just too much cologne on, with very few exceptions. The women were mostly into either heady sweet scents or very light EdCs. Most of the time it was all about their natural personal BO. There were some exceptions of course. I totally agree with your smoking statement (not to lecture, but...) I cannot stand the smell of cigarettes on a person who reeks from it, so unattractive. It's seems people have their own rules, what is more obtrusive, perfume or cigarette smell. I would rather smell a perfume, I don't like, than cigarette smell - hands down. Answer: I enjoyed reading your interesting replies to my question. It appears we perfumistas are in a minority! But that's no reason to stop is it? Answer: [quote=kewart;995915]I enjoyed reading your interesting replies to my question. It appears we perfumistas are in a minority! But that's no reason to stop is it? Absolutely not! Being in a minority has never bothered me, and this is one minority that I am PROUD to be a part of! Answer: I work in the tech industry, and pretty much nobody wears scent to work - but I do have one male friend here who also loves perfume passionately. I always try to go past his cube so that we can compare and discuss. Once I smelled something really lovely and followed its faint path through the cubes til I found him (I should have known!). Answer: I'm a teacher, so I don't think any of my coworkers ever wear anything. At least, not that I've noticed. So, I usually sneak a little of whatever I want to smell that day onto my wrists. The funniest thing is that there is a first grader who is maybe seven years old who seems very sensitive to smells. One day he caught a whiff of Un Jardin Sur le Nil on my wrists, inhaled dramatically and broke into a huge grin. Another day, when I actually wasn't wearing any perfume, he told me I smelled nice--like pudding. Hmm...I think I smell a budding basenoter:-) Copyright ? 2006 - 2007 www.thankhealth.com Privacy Policy
