Do your colleagues smell nice? - Page 2
Question:
My cubicle neighbor wears either Platinum Egoiste/Hollister Drift/A&F Fierce. They all smell the same to me, & I've just never gotten around to asking him which one it is. Another (male) coworker wears Kenneth Cole Black. I only know this 'cause he mentioned it once. I've never actually smelled it on him. I've never smelled perfume on any of my female coworkers, though. However, they always love sniffing the perfume and cologne strips in Avon catalogues.

Answer:
Where I used to work my colleagues wore Egyptian Musk Superior - the dark, heavy, head-shopy kind of Egyptian Musk. They also wore Hypnotic Poison, some sort of Armani, and TBS Vanilla oil... sometimes patchouli. They were trying to cover up other smells... if you know what I mean.

Answer:
I work at a nursing home for elderly. It seems like an unwritten rule not to overapply on the fragrances due to the work(allergies etc etc) However, some of the people who work parttime tend to wear scents. This seems to be of the fruity or "fresh and young "cathegory. And me...I don't wanna offend anyone,so I usually wear Narciso Rodriguez edt,Boisd'iris,Pure Poison or Attractiont to work.Rather discrete but still true to my personality. One time I actually wore Trouble, and a lovely 90 year old commented on the nice smell That was kind of nice

Answer:
I work in a flower shop (which wears it's own perfume!) my Boss is allergic to most frags and occasionally wears Love's Fresh Lemon (which a dear BNer found for her) and - like- that's it. Customer came in the other day smelling go-o-o-o-od - D&G Blue.

Answer:
Well,it seems that I work at the perfumeland! My love for perfumes was absolutely contagious for the last year, and now 90% of them wear SOMETHING. My boss wears Allure Sensuelle, my colleauges wear Gucci Rush,DG Light Blue,Armani Code,Givenchy Very Irresistible,Lacoste Inspiration,Davidoof Cool Water,Cavalli Seprpentine, Hugo Boss Deep Red, Gucci The One etc, etc. Most of them own 3 or more perfumes. One male colleague wears Ultraviolet and the other loves all Hugo Boss scents.

Answer:
I'm a university student...and generally speaking I don't smell much of anything on most people around either my college, or other uni buildings...
Often whiffs of fruity stuff from the girls...my best friend wears Coco mademoiselle which is very pretty and suits her wonderfully...
Actually I was suprised earlier today when I smelled something that totally took me back to my childhood - I grew up in Fiji - and I swear I was enveloped by the scent of frangipani...turns out it was DKNY Be Delicious, which one of my friends was wearing and which I had previously assumed I would hate....I looked it up but it doesn't have frangipani listed...weird...anyway I think it's funny how childhood memories can make something smell amazing even when you generally don't like that kind of scent.

Answer:
Most of my co-workers do not wear fragrance. I am a nurse and I work in ICU and I guess many people don't feel comfortable wearing fragrance to work. I usually wear one of my lighter frags just so I don't offend anyone but half of my co-workers smoke and smell very strongly of smoke which is more offensive in my opinion.

Answer:
I work in a small medical practice with just a few co-workers. The colleague I spend most of the working day with unfortunately lost her sense of smell years ago after an illness. She does love to wear perfumes however, relying on guidance from friends and family in choosing her frags. She wears Stella In Two, Angel, Eternity Summer, and Miss Dior Cherie among others. Another colleague likes Mango Adorably and Bath and Body Works Cherry Blossom. Many patients, mostly older ladies actually, wear beautiful scents but I can't always guess what they are.

Answer:
Interesting how many of us here seem to be in healthcare...
since I am around nurses most of the time, most of the pretty frags I am aware of on them are body lotion variety...heavy scents are downplayed in the thick of the ED...
But several of the male colleagues I work with who are more in administrative roles smell wonderful...Antaeus and Egoiste as well as some Creed...Giacomo de Giacomo, too.
One woman in my department likes to wear Fendi and CK One, Oscar and Paris.
They smell wonderful on her, but I can't wear those scents comfortably.
Of course I wear scents, as you know, but I try to apply with a fairly light hand so as not to overwhelm. I have a group of co workers who indulge in my need to be sniffed and happily critique my sotd...at least so far!

Answer:
Unfortunately, a lot of worklaces in Canada have become scent free zones, esp. offices, because of the increasing number of people with asthma and allergies. Happily though, I have my own office space, so DO wear whatever fragrance I choose. Even the loud scary ones! I feel so blessed. Hehehe...
