Question:
Tried this at Von Maur while Basenotes was down. The top and middle notes were a big blast of cinnamon... like in Hot Tamales candies. The drydown was a smooth, creamy woodsy musk. I didn't get any aquatic notes at all.
All in all, I'd have to say that this is a really good scent. Whether it's bottleworthy... well, I'm waiting to test a few other new releases first before deciding (read: D&G Light Blue PH and Jean Paul Gaultier Fleur du Male).

the basenotes 8 hours after application are nearly identical to Gucci ph.
This is no threat to Creed's Silver Mountain Water and nowhere nearly as enjoyable. weak tea and violets and midway a melange of weak spices. The basenote is similar to Gucci ph but not as strong.
this lacks strength and has an odd charecter. glad I got a decant to try it.
