Aldehydes are used throughout the perfume industry (whether featured / listed or not) to add effervescent, lift and zing to perfume blends. I find that the blends with dominant fruity (citrus) characters tend to be the most vivacious & bubbly in character. I especially love light fruity chypre blends that mimic the character of Champagne. Sadly, they do tend to be shorter lived than normal blends...
