Ever have someone say you smell good and .... - Page 3
Question:
Normally I don't get compliments at the office, but my closer friends are always saying I smell good (but I can't count their compliments, they know about my fragrance's passion)
Once at the office, a girl from a distant department (that I've never talked to), almost broke her neck when I passed by, trying to sniff my Antaeus... That was a huge compliment for me!

Answer:
L'Instant Homme EdP--the women were uncontrollably obsessive saying "OMG *sniff*, OMG *sniff*!"
Kouros Fraiche--woman in the elevator turned around twice looking at me with a glint in her eye and smiling! She spoke volumes with those eyes!
Cannabis Santal--the girls melted smelling this, they started acting almost "feline"! The guy who sits in the cubicle next to me at work who just bought and was wearing Mugler Cologne was feeling kinda jealous.
Casual Friday--"OH! Mmmm...what are you wearing?
Allure Sensuelle Extrait--laughing at this one, testing a dab on me that day, but there are definitely some hidden masculine qualities in this scent. Sorry, but I didn't confess to wearing this when she asked.
Opium PH EdP--the woman at the register kept exclaiming someone smells nice. I confessed to wearing something, she thought it was the bottle of Gucci PH I was purchasing that day.

Answer:
Rochas Man, all the time. Women would ask me what I was wearing, guys would ask me where I got it and how much it cost, that kind of stuff. I've ocassionally gotten inquiries when I was wearing some other colognes, but I don't really remember what I was wearing.

Answer:
Last compliment: Terre d'Hermes, from another guy
Compliment before that: Un Jardin sur le Nil, from a girl (I remember thinking when she complimented me, I didn't smell it anymore on my skin...but I guess she must've)

Answer:
YES, last night i was wearing Green Irish Tweed. I went to see my favorite Irish band, Revel's Glen. A girl bought me a drink and asked what cologne i was wearing. It was a good night. Now i need to call her
And here's a toast from last night
Here's to the girls that do
And heres to the girls that don't
And heres to the girls that say they will
But then they say they wont
And here's to the girls that i like best
And I'm sure you'll think I'm right
They are the girls that say they don't
But for you i think i might.

Answer:
Loewe pour homme. Back in school there was a girl who used to look for me every morning to "stick" her nose to my neck. Was kind of an addiction to her.

Answer:
In the last 6 months I bought:
Nino Cerruti pour homme
Chergui
Patou pour homme
Versailles
Timbuktu
Dzing
Coze 2
New York
Vetiver by Guerlain
L'air du Maroc
Never, ever got a compliment for any of these juices. The last time someone said you smell good was in 1987!
I remember it very well. It was a girl in a bookstore.
I was wearing cheap stuff called Francesco Smalto.
Turito

Turito This stuff is good....leaves a big trail of incredible sillage....and its cheap too....i bought one for myself and then just had to give one to a friend on his birthday coz i thought it came really cheap...but then one day when this friend visited me...i realized that Francesco Smalto was just so amazing....

should buy one for sure now....

Yep it happened today...went to work...and this HR guy tells me that i smell nice...asks me if i am wearing 'Gucci'....I roll my eyes and said hell no.....its something more unique than that.....Lancetti via Condotti....

Fantastic stuff...got it on a recommendation here in a thread a few months back.....so so so so 'peachy'.....i smelt like a peach basket....and i dint even know i was smelling of it...infact i thot it had poor longevity...but then this guy just said what he said...and yet again a strong case for 'Olefactory fatigue' is made....

Answer:
Gupt, don't buy the 30 ml version of Francesco Smalto (made in the USA). It's a remake with no sillage at all. They did the same with Cerruti pour homme 50 ml; even when you stick your nose in it, its still hard to sniff that typical 80ties smell.
