Question:
What scents were you anticipating to be wonderful, because the name & bottle were so enticing, but then you actually smell the juice, and were very disappointed?
One of my disappointments was Pheromone, I thought with that name & all the hype about it when it first came out, it was going to be hot. Just the opposite, P.U. (sorry for those who like it)
Cartier Delice (that hot red bottle, beautifully designed, so sexy looking, scent not that great for me.)
Just Cavelli - loved the bottle, so-so scent
Alien- cool purple bottle- funky name- not impressed with scent

Cinema was a blind buy, mostly for the bottle but the juice is one of those "low" scents like Allure & Hanae Mori that I can barely smell no matter how much I douse myself.
You're so right about the Cartier, I love the bottle & usually like sweet scents but I found Delice disappointing. Too sweet, too blah!
Nocturnes edt, I bought the big 3.3oz polka-dot bottle, but the scent is gone in 20 minutes I'm very disappointed with this one!
Those are all that come to mind...I'll have to think about what I've owned & got rid of...there must be TONS more I'm forgetting

Alien does have a really great bottle. I actually own a smallish one and like the juice, but it's a fairly straightforward jasmine, and not really something alien, as you'd imagine. (One thing Mugler does well, though, is bottles!)
Kingdom has a fantastic bottle, and a naughty reputation for smelling a bit crotchy or armpitty, but after trying twice I've only managed to smell a fairly innocuous citrus.
Noir Epices surprised me. I was expecting something dark and spicy from that name, but I got mostly geraniums (with a little hint of orange and clove). I don't dislike it but it wasn't what I'd expected and I wouldn't wear it.

Alien is my favorite bottle, the colors and just the little alien character, but I cannot like the way it smells. There is hope because it took me about a year to like Angel. I love Angel now, but used to dislike it very much. Same with Mitsouko.

Defenitely Insolence IMHO....Can't stomack the scent itself.Had to wash it off before I even got to discover the drydown.But the bottle is quite nice.
