Hey, can anybody recommend a fragrance that would be similar to Gucci Nobile since you can't get it anymore and I'm looking for a possible alternative.

The only fragrance that really "triggers" a Nobile comparison immediately (in my half-awake brain space), is VC&A's Tsar. I much prefer the Nobile to this fragrance... but Tsar also maintains a similar green/serious no nonsense character, though I find it much lighter and less interesting than the Nobile. Tsar can be purchased for a "very' reasonable price.
I am a fan of Nobile and I find it difficult to find comparitive fragrances... I would love to hear from other basenoters on this one.
I just thought I would also let you know that on the Sales/Swap forum on the boards, a very reputable basenoters seller, Stuigi is selling a bottle of Nobile for a 'very' good price.. $20 I believe. He is also very familiar and adept at shipping internationally. You might want to send him a PM, I'm sure he'd be happy to help you out...

Try Styletto, by O Boticário (from Brazil), if you can find it. Probably Some reviewer said it's Gucci Nobile imitation, but it was actually launched before Nobile. And it's much, much cheaper. Bad longevity, unfortunately, but there is an Intense version - never tried this.

They only smell similer for the first few seconds.

Gucci Nobile is special, I don't know any like it. You might try Carrera Pour Homme EDT which I find is a bit like a weaker Nobile, especially in the topnotes; the drydown is different. I really like it. Two other possibilities are Versace's Green Jeans and maybe even Herrera for Men. A lot depends on how each fragrance responds to individual skin types.
I ran across something called "Nobile Royalty" at Parfum1 the other day. It claims to be exactly like Gucci Nobile. I usually don't believe in stuff like this (especially at the low cost of this one). I won't be trying it to find out if its legitimate, because I've stocked up on Gucci Nobile, but if you want to, give it a try. I've found that Parfum 1 is trustworthy.
