Question:
until now,the only thing i know is or are some discontinued perfumes from some perfume houses(guerlain mitsuko was one recently)....not discontinued houses themselves...but they have to be some,let's say the last decade(they must be 5-10..maybe more or less)...can i get any help on this?i want to broaden my perfume knowledge a little...is there any subcategory in this community that lists the discontinued perfume houses?if there is not,then can anyone write the perfume houses that he knows that are now closed?

The one that springs to mind is an old English house, Crown Perfumery. It produced modest classics in the classic tradition like Crown Imperial, Eau de Quinine and Town and Country. It was bought out by Clive Christian who promptly closed it down to concentrate on fantasies for the uber-rich. Shame on you Clive!
