I'm the proud owner of a big bottle Terre; what do you think of Rocabar;is it also a high quality scent? Can buy it for a good price.Smelled it but I'm not sure allready;what are your opinions about Hermes Rocabar?

When I tested it I found it pleasant, but the longevity for me was very poor.

Rocabar is quite good, but vastly different to Terre. Overall it's a high quality scent, but I find the vanilla synthetic early on. On my skin, Rocabar lasts 6-8 hours, but stays close to the skin after 2.
I wouldn't recommend it as a blind buy, but do give it a few hours on your skin. I find it get's better with time.

Rocabar is a great fragrance, long lasting and so, but too woody for me!

In my opinion: Terre D'Hermes smells like NEW SCHOOL HERMES and Rocabar smells like OLD SCHOOL HERMES.
Not better, or not worse. Just different approaches to frags, I think.

I'd take Rocabar over Terre anyday.
But, if you don't like vanilla then avoid Rocabar,
as that is fundamental to its character at every stage.
Rocabar is excellent in winter.
