Marc Jacobs for office?
Question:
I don't see Marc Jacobs metioned too much in conversations about frags for office wear. To me, it seems ideally suited for office wear and a little bit distinctive too, as opposed to the typical daytime citrus clones out there. Am I missing something - is there any reason I should NOT wear this at the office?

Answer:
I think Marc Jacobs is perfect for the office environment because it's subtle and it lingers close to the skin. This is one of my favorites next to Allure Homme Sport. My Fiance really loves this scent because it's very cuddling and close; I love it too.

Answer:
Jumping in from the women's side, because I wear a fair number of men's scents and happen to especially adore the Marc Jacobs Ivy (and anticipate loving the amber, but have not smelled it due to a limited pocketbook and the fear of an impulse purchase...)
I think the Marc Jacobs line would be great for office wear for precisely the reasons sighted above. The sillage is not huge, so the scents are really for your own enjoyment and for those who get close enough (in proximity) to you; but they're not so overpowering that everyone in, say, a conference room with you during a meeting is going to be subjected to what you're wearing.

Answer:
I used to wear Marc Jacobs to work. No complaints.

Answer:
I've always thought of Marc Jacobs as an all-around scent, equally suited to work or social environments.
