TERRE D'HERMES summer or winter
Question:
hi everyone,i have been enjoying basenotes for a while now but this is my first thread so i hope i am not going over old ground with my question.I see that TERRE DHERMES was the winner of the best male scent for daytime but really wanted to know if it was more suited for summer or winter, bearing in mind that the summers here are very hot 40 c and winters around 12 c . thanks for your help.

Answer:
I am wearing it today because it's a good casual Friday scent. It's 30F here today.
I got TdH about 2 months ago or so, and I am anxiously awaiting the summer months where it is said that this fragrance really comes alive!
Bottom line - you can confidently wear this one at any time of year.

Answer:
They say it's winter now in Holland;temperature is 10C at the moment and it's cloudy outside.Today I'm wearing Hermes Terre, and received three compliments. Its not cold or hot outside;let's say a bit in the middle;and the sillage of Terre is perfect.7 hours after applying i received the last compliment.( I'm not a complimentgetter, I use a lot of other scents, and i'm not kidding)That's my Hermes-experience till today.
Good day

Answer:
Both summer & winter is ok for TdH - in my opinion

Answer:
It needs heat and sweat to reveal its best qualities.

Answer:
I find it a little unpleasant in the cold. I'll vote summer.

Answer:
Either, but I'll give summer the slight edge. The citrus top screams summer, but later qualities (spicy, rocky tones) make it pretty seasonally androgenous.

Answer:
the floral base make it very versatile between the fruity and woody notes, i think both seasons are great to wear it...
hope soon i could buy it and test it in summer...
im in love of terre...

Answer:
Definiely summer and I live in a hot climate myself.
