Question:
I'm conflicted here. I think overall I'm going to have to go with summer because I LOVE the affect of air conditioning on fragrance. The cause of my conflict comes from the fact that I lean towards heavier scents which are definately better in cool air. However, being inside is just not as enjoyable in the winter because the artificial heat inside is terrible. So yea, my final answer is summer, but a big part of that answer comes from the fact that I enjoy very mild summer weather. If I lived somewhere with blistering, humid summers I would probably have picked winter.

I prefer winter. I have more choice in terms of using orientals, sweet frags, and I can also use any fresh / light colognes as well. Also, I like when scarf or sweater smell nice and carry sillage. I don't feel like I have as much hoices in summer, though I still use whatever I like at the moment.

I prefer cooler weather to warmer. I wear nearly everything in my wardrobe year-round...but I can tell I won't be able to wear, say, Gaultier2 much in the summer. It gets pretty warm here in Kansas and I can't stand sweating. I feel like if I'm sweating profusely, I've ruined the effect of any frag I may be wearing. Thank God for A/C! If I'm going out on the town on a summer night I can still get away with wearing frags like Lolita Lempicka au masculin and even a very light application of Givenchy Pi because most places I frequent are heavily air conditioned.
I am looking forward to warmer weather, though...just not the awful sticky heat. I do like wearing frags like Clinique Happy with a t-shirt and shorts, rather than under a sweater.

I like summer better but I had a different nose till recently. This site has changed a lot of things for me. Middle of next week, I'm buying summer frags because most of my stuff is not good for that time of the year. Also, the owner of my store called and said he added about 30 scents for the summer Ask this question again in 3 months.
