Answer:
I have been more adventurous since I joined BN. I have bought some male scents and inheriting a few from several favourite basenoters.
I enjoy wearing Le Male and Body Kouros (The have become part of my drobe). I also like the M7!
I have been trying a lot of unisex scents and I like the Black Aoud, Dzing, Bleecker Street, CK One Scene, MI, Creed Original Vetiver, MKK, Musc Ravageur, Bulgari Black...
There is one men's scent which I prefer to sniff on paper and that is Platinum Égoïste.

Answer:
Thanks for the thread Baby Cakes! (I think. 'Cause now I gotta try Egoiste!! And the bailiffs are already pounding on the door - threatening the poorhouse!!)
Because Luca mentioned it in "The Secret of Scent" had to try de Nicolai's New York - a chameleon-like beauty - was instantly smitten. Looked it up in BN to find out why and discovered the blue upward pointing arrow.
Which proved for me - one more time - that without a prior bias, I couldn't tell a "masculine" from a "feminine"!!

Answer:
I adore Dior Homme, Egoiste and Habit Rouge. I'm not sure what Habit Rouge reminds me of but Homme reminds me of a Serge Lutens - not sure which one. I have also heard some men comment that it smells like the inside of a makeup bag because of the all the Iris. In any case I would love to smell this on a man (so far not managed to procure a sample otherwise I'd introduce it to my SO.)
Egoiste is a BdI clone or at least a relation. I am not sure what to compare Habit Rouge to but to me it smells similar to Egoiste.

I will also seek out M7, Dior Homme, and Versace Dreamer. Time to broaden my horizons.

I will also seek out M7, Dior Homme, and Versace Dreamer. Time to broaden my horizons. It took me a full year to learn how to appreciate Guerlain. I didn't like any of their scents at first but thanks to some generous people and samples I was able to get to know and love some of them - I find the older ones are more unisex than the newer ones.
Dreamer is really great. I get a weird plasticky note from it sometimes but on the right chemistry I can imagine it being terrific. It's something I'd love to smell on someone else.

Answer:
I regularly wear Gucci pour Homme, and Zagorsk. I've occasionally worn Geir and B*Men. I'll have to try Lolita Lempicka (male version), as the female version is often too sweet on me, and I'd like to wear it more often.

Answer:
ineespenes, I like the way you paired them up with similar female fragrances. That is very helpful to me when I analyze a fragrance.
pluran, great list. I have copied and pasted it along with the rest of the suggestions here. Thanks, people.

I like to smell them on other people, but the house style doesn't suit me. I own a handful of Guerlains but never use them. The older ones I've tried have not been to my tatse, e.g L'heure Bleue, Vol des Nuits, Apree l'Ondees, Jicky, etc. I appreciate the absolute quality of them, but don't feel drawn to wear them.
However, I do tend to change my mind about styles and tastes, so who knows? I shall certainly test them, especially Habit Rouge and Vetiver.
