I almost purchased Habit Rouge recently but the comments about the sweetness are discouraging me.... to my nose Kors and Varvatos are both WAAAAAY sweeter than Habit Rouge Answer: I really enjoy Varvatos, but with Spring coming, I would recommend searching for something you could wear this summer too. - Rich Answer: Santos! Michael Kors and Varvatos are too typical. Answer: My first choice would be Santos. Rich to the extreme, complex, formal, a powerhouse scent. Answer: Is the reformulated Santos a good frag? I don't think I can find the original.... Answer: I'll go with Santos. It's been pretty easy for me to find (any Neiman's has it). Honestly, I'm not even that big of a Santos fan...but the other two are simply too sweet, and JV goes bad quickly on my skin. Santos is nice and even refreshing if applied very lightly. Answer: Well it wound up being Michael Kors, but mainly because I got a great price on a 1oz. bottle. That scent sounds to be too strong for an everyday scent so 1oz. will be plenty. And I enevitibly will try the other two frags soon enough. As for Cartier specifically, last week I ordered Must - seems to get a bit of mixed reviews here. I don't care for spicy scents too much and that one appears to be spicy and cinnamon but light - so I am interested in it because it is lighter. I'll post my thoughts on the Kors when I receive it. Thanks all. Answer: Santos definetely. Answer: Originally Posted by JaimeB Michael Kors is not to be missed. The others are good, but they can wait... Ok, I've tried the Kors and it's fabulous. I've never smelled anything quite like it. Like many good scents, it has the strange opening, but it quickly morphs into something awesome. When first applied, one should not get too close or the top notes will turn you away. I would imagine this would not sell well over the counter to people who aren't patient enough to wait for the drydown. Anyway, thanks for the heads up man, I'm really really happy with the purchase - I'm sure I'll wear it much more next winter. So anyway, I've received the Varvatos as well but I've not tried it just yet - I will by this weekend. And Santos I will order next! Answer: Holy crap, quite the divergent list of picks here. Hmmmm, Kors has that weird grape candy topnote so toss that one right off. Have Varvatos but never wear it...lovely bottle, though. As it happens have Santos edt, aftershave balm and skin tonic on as I type. I dunno, how old are you? Santos has always struck me as a choice for those with at least a touch of grey. Naw, scratch that, it's a classic regardless of who reaches for it. Santos, no question. Copyright ? 2006 - 2007 www.thankhealth.com Privacy Policy
