Creed originated from England but has been french since 1854 when they moved to Paris

it makes sense what you say, except for Fleur de The Rose Bulgare most of their scents names are in english language
as for Bois de jasmin 's article on jasmin de Grasse, with all due respect (I love love her blog) Guerlain doesn 't use jasmin de Grasse jasmine for their extraits, never did. on the other hand Guerlain owns the most precious jasmine lands in India, Egypt and other secret locations (information disclosed by JP Guerlain 's interview 'Tous les parfums de l 'Arabie' french documentary). I m extremely skeptical about Iris Nobile using jasmin de Grasse, I keep reading everywhere only Patou and Chanel have production rights on jasmin de Grasse, but that deserves further inquiries and investigation...

have you tried the French Goutal Rose very rose indeed - also West Side by Bond has a great rose in it.Also peonies which softens it.

if I may add mascara, I tested Rose Absolue by Annick Goutal, indeed the eau de toilette has an english fragrance feel to it, a true rose without FDTRB 's harshness but the parfum version (hard to find now) has more body, a more velvety rose, less "english"
