Fake Gucci ad ran in newspaper
Question:
Boing Boing has the picture of the ad http://www.boingboing.net/2007/02/27...ricks_swi.html looks like Gucci I for women he's holding. Answer: I fell for it too! Finally an Eau de Parfum THAT LASTS, I thought. HAHA - it happened last week, so I didn't get around to really look for it, but I searched the BN directory .... It was professionally perfect and like a centerfold it covered two pages. Juan Isidro Casilla (22) likes to act as 'Watson'. He has pulled more tricks before, and I hope he'll never run out of ideas, or be jailed... Answer: I think he bought the spread (two pages) more details http://www.editorandpublisher.com/ea..._id=1003551020 Answer: Originally Posted by fredricktoo I think he bought the spread (two pages) No, he just ordered this, and more advertisements, by simple e-mail with his own picture attached! He 'signed' as Gucci Manager Watson, Public Relations, Gucci-International, HQ Zurich. He seemingly used his own PC, and apologized in advance for 'perhaps' being unavailable over the weekend. To understand why he might be seen as a hero by many you would have to be aware of recent developments in Zurich's city. And Swiss Media events must have inspired him: we just had the 'Mr. Switzerland' preliminaries starting, and 'Music Star' elections have been keeping young people electrified for weeks. The guy says he wants a career as a model, and it looks like he has some talent to be one. I've never seen a better Gucci ad and would give him the contract! Juan's pictures: http://www.blick.ch/news?sname=tfslide_pics&ooid=2968&ioid=215960&page number=1 Answer: Very clever way to make a name for yourself! Answer: Watson's pretty easy on the eyes too... Answer: hahahaha that's HILARIOUS. We need more people like that in America. The guy sorta looks like Thierry Henry from Arsenal too. hmmm... These show his 2006 activities, presenting himself as Latin Singer, Sony Representative,... in 2006. But his Gucci ad was the biggest coup! Obviously he hadn't heard of Homme II yet, but it was still perfect! The guy is an immigrant from the Dominican Republic and now in danger of being sent back home. Maybe he only proclaimed readiness to undergo psychological treatment to pacify the judge. To me he is as sane as anyone could ever be! http://de.bluewin.ch/bildergalerie.p...623&page_no=14 Copyright ? 2006 - 2007 www.thankhealth.com Privacy Policy
