I was wearing Guerlain Vetiver, Bvlgari Black, Xerius Rouge, Paco (which is a clone of CK1), Jako.
There were many others that I adored, but did not have much money to buy many, and did not think that someone should have more than one bottle, so having two felt like a luxury. Usually I had two bottles at a time.

I had all the English Leather's 35 yrs ago the Lime, Musk, Regular, Lumberjack whatever. Brut and I Kanon, Jade East and Canoe. Now, I wish I knew about the Creeds and had the money to go with full size splash bottles.

I think I had finished my bottle of Givenchy Gentleman by 20, so I reckon I would have been wearing either Cacharel or Azzaro PH.
Of scents that were reasonably available in the area and at the time I'll say that I would have liked to have worn Safari (I've surprised myself by that answer!).
Given a fantasy choice I'll say a) for collapsing behind the jukebox after too much booze, dodgy cigs and post-punk - Knize Ten or Piper Nigrum, b) for grieving over the Smiths breaking up or trying to learn some Byron to impress the latest siren who'd captured my heart, Czech & Speake No88.

When I was twenty (1968) I wore my Lanvin trio: Lavande, Figaro and Vetyver and would probably still be wearing them if they were available today. I also wore Jade East, Mem's English Leather Lime, Revlon's That Man and Pub. Dana's Canoe was also a favourite - as it still is.
I don't wish that I would have worn anything different from what I did.
I just wish that a lot of these fragrances - and many more - were still being manufactured!

At twenty: too many fragrances to mention but the most loved were Diorissimo, Chamade, Cabochard and Calandre. And of course my father's Habit Rouge.
And I really wish the Lutens fragrances would have been there at that time. I think I would have loved them as much as I do now.........
