in2u? - Page 2
Question:
I smell it yesterday. Nothing new. The top is delicious if you are into zest: Citron and efervescent lime. Pity is gone after 5mt. Then comes the marine notes: Sisho leaves and marine notes. The dry down is made by cacao and soft lighs woods. its aquatic zesty marine aroma, but it has that cheap synthetic aura like much other ck fragrances. The composition after one hour doesn´t smell much right on your skin. Answer: but what could be new in this age ??? even the amazing terre d hermes share another tunes from others fragances.... thanx for the advance.. Answer: “More than anyone, Americans smell with their eyes and their brains before they smell with their noses,” she said. Ugh. Exactly the problem. And the name! in2u!?!?! This fragrance will flop because the name is blatantly trying to take advantage of now passe generational lingo, and their target market is smart enough (I hope) to see right through it. That guy they interviewed was exactly right: it's like they're talking down to a generation. You don't know what you like, so we, a giant corporate entity, will slink down to your underworld of texts and blogs to ram it down your throat. Please. Plus, it sounds like something a 13 year old girl would say. I hope these marketers end up fired. Customers are lemmings. Yup, that's exactly what I thought too. What she is really saying with that second quote is that with enough marketing and hype and "cool" packaging you can get people to think something is good before they ever have a chance to smell it. Not encouraging words from a 'nose'. Answer: It reminds me of FCUK Him and FCUK Her campaign with their "Scent to bed" tag-line. It failed miserably. On the other hand it may be a decent fragrance. Who knows? Answer: I've never recovered from Crave, and Truth pretty much sucked too. Crave was a train wreck - I don't see how that could possibly be refuted. Speaking of trainwrecks...has anyone even tried CK one electric??? It's like squirting pure lime juice onto your skin. It doesn't even seem like something one should put on their skin to try to smell good! Answer: Now I know why my wardrobe is slowly becoming more niche dominant.
