in2u?
Question:
http://www.nytimes.com/2007/03/08/fa...gewanted=print Answer: Millennials = Millésime Answer: Somehow this makes me happy I'm not a twenty-something anymore. Answer: I am a twenty-something, goddammit! --quotes: A typical line from the press materials for CK in2u goes like this: “She likes how he blogs, her texts turn him on. It’s intense. For right now.” “The way I work is less about ingredients than the feelings they evoke.” “More than anyone, Americans smell with their eyes and their brains before they smell with their noses,” she said. -- Very telling quotes, these. Customers are lemmings. Answer: I became quickly disinterested as soon as I read that the scents base note will have, 'a core of neon amber, the common denominator of all Calvin Klein scents' Why? My problem with all new CK scents is essentially they ALL SMELL ALIKE! Is there a signifigant portion of consumers that like this? It just feels too SAFE and MARKET STUDY SPECIFIC to me... Although I have to admit, the 'salty lime' note of the mens version has me interested... Answer: What most of these marketing types tend to forget is that the reason CKone was such a hit was that it smelled good. Answer: The fact that they delayed the launch by one month just to produce an extra million bottles due to retailer demand must mean that the people at Coty are pretty psyched. I know that the SAs back home are pretty psyched about this launch... maybe more than any other. Still, if Coty is expecting another cK one, I think that they'll be sorely disappointed. The Calvin Klein brand has gotten old and stale from a fashion perspective. From a fragrance perspective, I do have to admit that Euphoria for women was both a really good scent and a decent blockbuster. But that was launched prior to Coty taking over the license from Unilever, though. I'll hold off on making sales predictions. Answer: Alls I gotta say is... TECHNOSEXUAL. ROFLMAO. I especially LOVE this line: “She likes how he blogs, her texts turn him on. It’s intense. For right now.” ROFLMAO!!!! Answer: The name sucks, the marketing sucks, and the frag sounds like it's gonna suck. I'll give it a sniff, though. I've been so disappointed in recent CK releases though (like CK one scene, CK one electric, & the men's Euphoria). I still wear CK be and the original CK one with pride, though, as I have been for the past 10 years. And I really enjoy Eternity Summer. I'll try to give in2u a fair shot, but I just don't know. How lame would I sound to tell someone who inquires that I'm wearing "in2u?" Answer: i am a target market HIT ME! Copyright ? 2006 - 2007 www.thankhealth.com Privacy Policy
