Hi Guys,
yesterday I finally bought this fantastic fragrance after thinking about it for almost a year. I got a ridiculous deal, a 100ml edt for 50 Swedish crowns (5 Euros). It was the last unopened tester they had from under the counter and naturally I asked why they don´t sell it anymore. The SA replied that they will not carry it anymore because YSL stopped delivering M7, she said that alot of ppl where asking for it so she would have no problem selling it.
I know a similar discussion was on before I just wanted to share this info and I know it is just a department store SA but it still..(dont know if this applies only to Sweden though)

it's tom ford's legacy being erased. you may be able to get them at YSL boutiques for awhile though, but at top dollar prices.
no dept stores/perfume shops are carrying any tom ford ysl fragrances anymore...here in the US...aside from those that still have some left, I think...

Similar, but different: I was told by a sales person, last Saturday, that stores in the UK are, quote " stoping selling Rive Gauche". This from a lady working on a counter at large UK chain store. Hopefully, she is wrong.

Yeah, why not discontinue M7, it's just about the most interesting designer scent of the 21st century. With Guerlain messing with classics such as Vetiver and Habit Rouge, and Chanel not creating anything worthwhile after Egoiste, things aren't looking too bright when it comes to masculine designer scents. For me atleast, since I'm not that fond of Dior Homme - or Terre d'Hermes for that matter.

But, it is really sad if we have more "Ysl L'homme" to look forward to and no more M7 or RG. I was so disappointed with that one...

I read somewhere ( I think WWD or Cosmeticnews) that the salesnumbers of YSL L'Homme were really good and it sort of brought YSL mens fragrances back on the map again. Let's hope they take advantage of this and release something a little more daring the next time.
