Question:
Oh, I'm flouncing around today in my bargain ebay bottle of Nuits de Noho! It got here and was really barely used, (mint in box too!) as in less that a ml! YAY! I almost feel guiltly for the seller....but nooot quite. Answer: Wow everybody smells great today! It's gray and snowy here, and I'm still in "sweet warmth and comfort" mode, so am giving the new Chanel Coromandel from les Exclusifs line a test drive today. The SA from Chanel recommended it to me since I love Coco, and I can see why she suggested it... Lots of vanilla, a fair amount of frankincense (yay!)... And classically Chanel. Mmmmmm! Answer: L'Ombre dans L'eau! Answer: Trying to keep the cold, windy winter at bay so I'm wearing Fracas. I'm working from home again today, so I haven't been brave enough to wear it to the office yet. Answer: SotD: Stella by Stella McCartney, bodylotion and EdP, which is prolonging the scent. Got two compliments for it during the day!! It will be Stella for SotE, too. Answer: Vintage Infini by Caron. Just bought it blind on ebay -- so surprised to love it. Answer: Going for a teeth-cleaning late morning. What to wear? What to wear? Jicky? With Love? Maybe just some Orange Blossom? Or no scent at all? I'll grab something on impulse after I shower. Probably Orange Blossom. That's how I feel about my new Fracas,; I dare not wear it to work just yet, though may try it next week. I can hardly wait to wear it during the working day, but I need to have some consideration for my non-perfume loving colleagues. I wonder what they make of Tabac Blond when I wear that, as there is no hiding place from TB. I never hear comments about any of my perfumes from work colleagues, so it's always a risk. I must say that only adds to the thrill. Answer: Fifty degrees and sunny! Can we really be having an early spring? Today I'm wearing my MPG Fleur d'Iris Answer: Originally Posted by Sestra I wonder what they make of Tabac Blond when I wear that, as there is no hiding place from TB. I'm in a health-care related field so I usually don't wear scent to the office when I have patients. On patient-free days I do wear something "light" and non-vintage (Love Is All, or Miss Dior Cherie, Pure Grace, etc) so as not to bother my (young) office-mate. My boss is pregnant, so I've been really cautious about scents in general at the office. I frequently take a sample of a new scent to test and apply it in the car on the way home as my way of rewarding myself for the day-long hardship of remaining scent free. Regarding Tabac Blond - my 17 year-old daughter who frequently calls my fragrances "old lady" proclaimed Tabac Blond "not too bad." High praise, indeed.
