got my duo boots - Page 2
Question:
I found their customer service was really good at answering the questions I had, especially in regards to shoe sizing. I never bought from them though because I didn't want to wait that long for delivery. I had been thinking about revisitng them again but not so sure after reading this! I guess looking at their size chart, a 41 is a UK 8 which would be about an AUS 10? Is it really 2 cms bigger??? Love how enthusiastic she sounds about poking someones eye Answer: Originally Posted by kitakins http://www.koji-honpo.co.jp/makeup/m..._talk_300.html Oh thanks for that! Is it just me or is it painful to watch?? Your avator was painful for me to watch. I must be just sensitive Answer: now they are trying to deny that this boot runs big. i asked them before i ordered about sizing and even gave them my foot measurement and they said nothing about a 41, which is definately my size, being inappropriate. do not trust their customer service when it comes to sizing. even though they gave me bad advice, they refuse to pay for the postage back! also, if i wanted an exchange, which luckily i dont, i would have to pay for more shipping to have another pair sent to me. what a rip off! i am never buying from them again. id rather be bootless than broke. ds, i got the oslo in a 33cm calf fitting oth, yes thats right. their chart says a 41 is a US 10. but its more like a US 12! well for this particular boot anyway. you should see it, its massive Answer: ^^ geeez....lucky...that's the boot I wanted to get !!!!! I'm a 42....so am a bit worried about ordering it. I'd love to try yours...but my calf is the other end of the scale. hmmmm. I was thinking the oslo and one other pair with a heel...not sure now. One more question....could you measure the bottom length of the shoe...just so I can compare to my shoes that have a similar heel. . would you say the top of the foot part of the boot is a tight/normal/generous width/fit..I know its hard cause the shoe is large overall. My foot is a bit on the wider side.... . what is the quality of the boot overall.. ? Maybe I just forget about ordering from them. hmmmm. Only thing I could suggest is put them on the sale threads...lots of voguettes with larger foot prints that struggle with 11's ....you never know.... Answer: the 41 would suit someone with a foot that is 28.5cm long [measure standing up as the foot stretches out]. 41 might be too long for you. my boot is quite narrow, but i have a feeling it might be made like that because my calf fitting was small. the width of the foot could increase with calf size. quality is good, but beware of the soles. they mark! if they actually fit i would be as pleased as punch as they look really nice. hmmm i will list them but if no one replies in a day or 2 im sending them back. actually i think i will just send them back. i want to be rid of them. they make me angry Answer: hahaha yeah bad karma !! send them back. the sooner they leave your life the better hey. I know the feeling Answer: whoa thats weird cause I just received my duo boots today & they fit beautifully. I got a size 42 calf 46cm Lyon boot & there is prob 1cm at the front of the boot but when I put on socks (which I wear with boots) they fit amazing. I'd been worrided the boots would be too small. A suggestion for the calves though, go up 1cm from what you measured cause I find they are a tight if I want to wear over jeans. Answer: oh geeeez. what to do ? anyone else with feedback ? anyone ? Miss Scotland...do you normally wear an 11/42 ? and what do your boots measure ie. the foot print ? Answer: Originally Posted by ds oh geeeez. what to do ? anyone else with feedback ? anyone ? I don't know...I've been wanting to order from them for years, but its an awful lot of money if it doesn't fit right. Copyright ? 2006 - 2007 www.thankhealth.com Privacy Policy
