i say dont do it, just for that reason. if you dont get the right fit first go you will be down a total of over $80 shipping [they dont refund the original shipping cost either, which is £20!]

I'd been worrided the boots would be too small. A suggestion for the calves though, go up 1cm from what you measured cause I find they are a tight if I want to wear over jeans. I was eyeing the Lyon boot - would you say they were true to size in length?

would you be able to measure the bottom of the boot for me? just measure straight across from the edge of the heel to the edge of the toe [dont bother trying to measure inside the arch]. mine have a 3cm heel and the same shape toe as well so it would be easy to compare. could you also measure your foot with your socks on? i know that sounds silly but i want to get an idea of what your idea of a 42 is
im going to ask duo to compare my boots with another 41 incase the manufacturers have stamped the boot with the wrong size. seems a bit strange that other boots are true to size yet mine are 2 sizes too big.

Answer:
Hi all,
I just measured & my boots are 29cm long. They are a flat boot so I dont know if that has anything to do with they fit really well - maybe in the heels you have to go 1 size down. My actual foot is 25cm. I'm normally a size 11 in Australia & previously lived in the UK so knew I was a size9/europe 42 there hence why I bought the 42 cause here I find I can be a 41 or 42 depending on the shoe style.
For the voguette interested in them - they are sooo comfy, i wore them all yesterday & not a complaint. Plus they are only 39quid plus postage so on my credit card they came to $143 which I thought was excellent as they're having a massive sale at the moment.
Hope that helps everyone!

Answer:
I've purchased 2 pairs from Duo, and had no problems. I'm a size 9, and ordered a 39.
I usually wear a 40 in european sizes, but I measured my foot according to the specs on duo's site and got a 39 which fits perfectly. I really can't recommend them highly enough, despite what Kitakins has experienced.

Answer:
29 cm long wtf? mine are 30 cm long yet they are a smaller size! they have the same height heel too so there would be no difference due to heel height. im beginning to think that they have stamped them with the wrong size!

wow, if that is true they should definitely refund you postage. Not good enough duo!

Answer:
when buying shoes online should you go by shoe/boot/foot length rather than apparent size?
