Some have skull borders and others have stripes depending when they were released.
One major clue regarding fakes: look to see where the designer name is placed and how it's placed

Was that the purple skull one? because that was a thomas wylde one not mcqueen. The mcqueen one is silk chiffon and the Thomas wylde is a double sided silk twill. They are both really nice.
