I desperately need gorgeous formal-ish heels for THIS dress
The obvious choice was black (I couldn't wear anything else, right?) The only thing is, I'm only a couple of inches shorter than my boyfriend, and I don't want to be towering over him in massive heels! I love THESE Nine West pumps, but I'm thinking a 10.5cm heel is too much!
Anyone have any suggestions for shoes for this dress? I'm open to any styles, and my price limit is about $150. Or any other accessories (jewellery etc) for this outfit?

Who cares if you are taller than your bf by a few cm's. get the shoes you want, no one will notice or if they do, no one will care
IMO higher heels look better than mid-heels anyway. Since the dress is black I agree with altaMODA that coloured shoes would be cute

I guess a higher heel won't be too bad! I'd much rather wear a sexy shoe anyway
Red could look hot, but I can't seem to find any nice plain red heels (that aren't pointy... I've already got points but they don't seem to go with the dress). A lot of the peeptoes out atm (in red or black) have bows on them, which I think would be a bit OTT with the massive bow on the dress.
I just found these shoes which I like, but they don't come in red. I shall continue searching!
