Of course you could wear that! A slight bit of rainbowishness is good - I've been known to channel a rainbow Go basic coloured top, then with either silver jewellery or multicolour beads.

I don't know if its just me, but if I have lots of colour down the bottom of m outfit, I like to have some colour up top, too? And vice versa. Just to keep things balanced. But maybe I'm strange!

I would - nothing wrong with a bit of colour!

Answer:
Great thread!
I think this is relevant to this thread - what suit colours do you think are appropriate for a corporate lawyer (female). Besides, black, grey and pinstripe? Any other colours out there that would be ok?

How about chocolate brown glama, and/or red, or even a really nice white or cream suit? Livening the it up with a great coloured scarf or belt/shoes/cufflinks would help set you apart from the crowd as well

Answer:
What would you all suggest a guy wear for a fashion show with the dress code "black and gold"?
TIA!

Any other colours out there that would be ok? Glamagirl I have a black suit, a charcoal suit and a grey skirt and to liven things up I will sometimes wear the charcoal skirt or pants with a blue cropped jacket I own and a pale blue shirt or top. I think that you could add some interesting colours to a black, grey or brown pant or skirt by mixing it up with the top. I find that so long as my shirt or top is the same colour as my jacket/blazer/cardi etc. it doesn't look too casual or un-corporate.

Answer:
eminere, you could get a cheap yellow singlet or tshirt and write "Black and Gold" on it in block letters with a permanent black texta. Pair it with black footy shorts and maybe a yellow sweatband for an authentic bogan look
Or you could get some black pants, and a black robe of some kind, and wrap a gold tie around your waist (the kind with tassels, like what you tie your curtains up with), and a gold strip of material around your head and you can be a black and gold ninja!
Or put on an afro wig, with baggy trackies and a black silky shirt and sneakers, and get a heap of big chunky chains from the local hardware store. Paint the chains gold (maybe add a big cardboard dollar sign painted gold) and you could be a "rapper" with black and gold clothes.
