(i have hazel eyes, light brown hair and fairish skin) We are alike, i have greeny/hazel eyes, light brown hair and fairish skin too Anyway back to topic..that outfit sounds hawtt! I'm not good with make-up so i won't be much help, sorry Answer: Hey, I'm going to a Studio 54 themed party on Saturday and am pretty stuck for costume ideas... I want to dress the part but I want to wear something flattering (of course) which means no jumpsuits, hotpants or mini-skirts; they just don't suit me! I was thinking perhaps leather boots, aqua stockings and some kind of patterned dress or skirt with big wavy hair... what do you guys think? Can you come up with anything more creative than that? Studio 54 is turning out to be a bit tough, i wish it was 60s theme so i could go as a mod or something, sigh. What a fun theme. Since it is at the beach maybe you could just wear a one-piece swimsuit and put the shorts on top. Add a pair of wedges, some big sunglasses and have your hair out long and straight. If you don't want to wear the shorts you could wear a long caftan-style dress. The site below will give you a lot of information regarding 1970s fashion. http://www.fashion-era.com/1970s.htm Hope this helps. And do i need a jacket or is it okay with just a top? http://www.bom.gov.au/cgi-bin/wrap_fwo.pl?IDV10450.txt I have the Sydney one as my homepage! Absolute lifesaver Answer: I found this in a second hand store (in Queenscliff of all places) it was in near perfect condition, lining and all (an itty bitty stain on the back, less than the size of a thumbnail, barely noticeable). It was the kind of piece that I didn’t even think twice about before purchasing, it is so beautiful. Anyway, is it the kind of garment that can only be worn to formal events? I don’t think there’s anyway you could ‘casual-ise’ a kimono, is there? (its ankle length. Oh, it also has 3 beige Japanese motifs roughly the size of fifty cent pieces, one of each shoulder on the front, and one in the middle of the shoulder blades on the back ) In case I do have the formal occasion pop up soon, what would I wear it with? Answer: im going to cargo tomorrow night and have not been before. just wondering what to wear? Like what type of style of people go and their clothing Answer: yeah i agree if every1 deletes their threads once their q has been answered it will keep the number down. HERES ONE THAT PREVIOUSLY GOT DELETED...what to wear to BDO... I think i have decided on - - insight playsuit (black and white) - accessories not yet decided - scarf in hair - either havs or if the weather is like it is predicted, ie: raining i am thinking of buying GUMBOOTS!!! - juicy couture black jumper for when it gets cold at night Answer: Originally Posted by eminere™ What would you all suggest a guy wear for a fashion show with the dress code "black and gold"?
