i cant decide what shoes to wear to the BDO either! i am wearing brown cuffed shorts, but i fear that closed shoes will look bad, especially sneaker-eqsue shoes...
i think i know what kind of shoes i want; i saw a girl wearing them today, but i was at work and couldnt ask her where she got them. they are sneaker style ballet flat things, they look sorta nautical... has anyone seen these?
also, i want to wear a hat to the BDO because i cannot get sunburnt, but i hate trucker hats. has anyone seen any nice, stylish hats i could wear?

rach_mack you could buy keds from General Pants. They are ballet style sneakers and come in a variety of colours/prints. I think Dunlop have done similar styles as well

What is everyone wearing to the big day out? I like the previous person's idea of a playsuit... was thinking about wearing one too but don't want to have to hitch something up around my boobs all day... The big day out is always a clothes disaster for me.. I don't wanna wear my nice stuff incase it gets ruined.. I wanna be super practical but still look nice.. and then there's shoes. SO annoying!

sounds lovely! i don't want to be over the top either... but i don't want to look like im going to the gym! which shoes are you wearing though... i have an outfit in mind, but i know the shoes i will wear will wreck it.

I think dunlop volleys (the no laces one) look good with shorts..
And they look even better cause it's more suitable.
I'd wear a singlet and shorts and volleys.. (if i was going *tear*)
I'd also hope that I'd be jumping around too much to get cold.
