Boots - skinny around calf! - Page 2
Question:
I have a pair of boots that are so big around the calf that I've never worn them. Someone in another thread said that you could get them taken in, but I'm not sure which places would do this - does anyone have any idea?

Answer:
the only ones I found (a couple of years ago) were vinyl ones that were supertight had a bit of give, anyone found leather ones?

Answer:
Yes, I have this problem too... I'm still on my search for the perfect pair of flat round-toe boots and it's almost impossible! I think that the Sportsgirl ones were the worst- I don't know if it's the whole 'look' but they were so baggy

I'm going to go to Zomp though!

Answer:
there are these pretty cool flat pointy fold over boots at scooter that require some serious pull up action
only skinny calves fit into them, they're zip ups

Answer:
Yay i'm so glad you made this thread!
I don't consider myself super-skinny but no boots have ever fit me. I don't love my slouchy boots as much as i would love a pair of knee-highs that fit snug-ly!

It may have been me because I've mentioned it before.
Anyway, there is a shoe maker in Leichhardt that I go to who tailors them to perfection
His on Norton Street and the nearest cross street would be Parramatta Road.

I have a pair of heeled Milana (from DJ's) boots that fit me nice and snug. Also I found a pair at Wittner a few months back that fitted me too, flat wth pointy toe.
I agree with the Milana boots being a slimmer fit (I only wish they had some less elfish-pointed toed flat boots in the same style.
