5/1/07 MELBOURNE:
The first drop of the summer collection has arrived in Melbourne, I had a look yesterday. Nothing terribly exciting but they have some cute new jewellery, especially the earrings:
- diamante CCs with dangling diamante camellias
- plain diamante camellias
- black enamel CCs with tiny pearl detail and dangling bows or camellias, these also came in cream
- cute pink and white enamel ladybugs on gold hoops
- these hysterical white enamel cats with gold collars and tiny gold ccs dangling off the collar
- white enamel butterflies
The new bags:
- lots of patent bags in white, black and beige, in the flap style and the mini doctor's bag style
- one amazing red patent slim flap bag with gold frame
- metallic eggplant foldover clutch with marquisite buckle
- black quilted silk evening clutch with marquisite buckle

10/12/06 SYDNEY:
- coral(?) east west lambskin flap - was so tempted!
- black jumbo caviar w. silver hardware

16/11/06 MELB/SYDNEY: I must have asked at least 4-5 different SA's on impending shipments and they all gave me different dates. Bottom line is, I think none of them truly know.
I noticed that they just received a shipment of various shoes so I'm hoping that the rest of their stock is not far behind.
* They are unlikely to get any white caviar or lambskin classics in large or jumbo
* There are no clutches in any colour (the ones with the gold double C hardware on top
* They are expecting new clutches though with a huge (massive) diamond on top
* There is a dark chocolate medium classic in lambskin with s/h (remembered a voguette asking on one of these)
* As far as classics go, I noticed the following;
Lambskin Large beige with g/h - - medium dark chocolate (as mentioned above) in s/h - - medium black with g/h - - medium coral with g/h
Caviar Medium in black with g/h - - medium black with s/h - -beige with g/h - - small squarish looking red/burgundy one
Tweed Both medium, one was green (HOT) with s/h and one peachy coloured one with g/h (the one Mischa wore) both of those were $2100.00
Washed Lambskin baby blue small (e/w) - with thanks to outrageous.
11/10/06 MELBOURNE: in stock - the Clutch that Rachel Bilson and Victoria Beckham have (don't know what it's called - and a few other styles with the same vertical stitching);
A blush mini flap with a camelia on the chain;

15/9/06 MELBOURNE: in stock - the cutest lambskin mini classic flap bag that could fit some cards, lippy and mobile in it. It came in hot pink and red. and had a long strap which could be shortened $1130;
A lot of dark purple , burgandy, black, beige classic flap bags in lambskin and a few caviar at the back (one being a cute baby pink);
A bronze and black luxury flap bag behind the counter;

oklie girls, i had my money set on either the large or jumbo caviar classic flap. fortunately it's my birthday coming up, which means my sisters are helping me buy my first chanel, so possibly i can actually afford a reissue.
does anyone know prices for the 226 or 227 in sydney, or in europe? ill be mailordering if there is no stock

If you're after the reissue hun I'd probably mail order it. I can't actually say I noticed any in Sydney when hubby bought me a 2.55 the other week. At least if you do order it from overseas you'll have a wider range of color availability. I ordered my grey reissue from France & bought the black in Paris Goodluck hun - its a gorgeous gorgeous bag!!
Added: check on the avil. of reissue in Syd, even Aust. But I'm pretty sure they don't have any in stock anymore
