I've two pair of jeans and two tops, one cardigan, 1 jacket and one coat..the rest of my winter stuff became too big so I donated it.

If it's just a bit too big, would not getting it altered be cheaper than sending it back? I know that there are now alteration shops in Garden City and Southlands..also Rockingham...you could always just a quote to see. Haha I honestly didn't consider that! It'll probably cost me the same in alterations as postage! I might as well. I'll try it on again and see if it can be done easily

Answer:
Hi everyone. For Perth girls, the boutique at Dianella Plaza is having a 20% off everything sale for the next week.

Answer:
I'll fess up as a massive torrid shopper.. probably around half my wardrobe comes from there - so..
the plusses:
it's different from what anyone else has - and you get the trend pieces a season before everyone else
in general it's usually pretty good quality
they don't usually make mistakes, and if they do they are very good about fixing things up (see my recent post in the old thread about them leaving a security tag on a top - I've had the cost of that refunded to my cc already and after a bit of bashing with a hammer I got the tag out anyway)
the minuses:
occasionally sizing is rather off - smaller or larger than expected
returns are difficult because it's overseas
shipping is sometimes more than the garmets you want to buy! (I solve that by buying lots of things at a time :P )
I just take the good luck with the bad and used to just ebay off whatever I got that didn't fit or suit pretty much like I do with clothes I buy here in aus on a whim and then realise after I've lost the receipt that it's really just not me.. I've been very slack with that for the last year or so. so I've got a huge pile of clothes here waiting for me to get motivated
(I mean HUGE pile)

Ive bought shoes - wider calve boots from Torrid and have absolutely loved both of them - good quality good price awesome styles. They worked out around $100AUD each time so I cant complain!

I had a dress altered last week and it only cost me $20.
He did a great job - I just went to my local Shopping centre and there was an alterations place there.

Hey D_G - thanks for setting up the new thread!

Just bumping this in from the last thread:
Re Big City:
Has anyone else seen the black v-neck cardi with the mock black and white satin shirt attached at the collar, cuffs, and hem? I can't decide whether or not I can live without it...
But I have decided to indulge in the 1/2 sleeve heavy cotton jackets they have - in emerald green, just for something different...
Any opinions on the jacket - does anyone have one of these to advise me?
