I'm in love with this coat, especially because it's neutral in colour,. I have a similar one in pink but doesn't go with everything. I'm thinking of getting it.

I feel your pain! For example because of my ample chest I cannot fit into Target's normal tops/dresses and yet their plus size are way too big!

I've had this problem too, but I've noticed Target's new plus stuff now starts at 14, so maybe it'll fit? I haven't tried anything yet though.

I know that Torrid (& I think all US sizing) is usually 2 sizes down from AU/UK. For instance, I'm typically a 16 in AU but for most of Torrid's stuff I buy a 12.
Although I have to say that their t-shirts can be waaaaaaaaay off. I bought a heap during their last clearance & only 1 fits nicely. The others (same brand ) are too long/sleeves too tight but rest of tee too big. GAAAHHH.
The last 3 skirts I bought were in a size 12 & they fit like AU size 12s (ie not).
Sorry for the rambling post!
Best advice: make sure you base it all on your measurements & make sure they're as accurate as possible
