Good advice! Also try the Trading Post - that's where I got mine. Adjustable mannequins are the sort of thing 'older' ladies sell and they're often not so net-savvy, so you might find one cheaply in the paper.

This may sound silly, but has anyone made a t-shirt or coat or something for a four-legged furry friend of the canine variety before? Are there any patterns out there for this?

I've made this dress - it was a disaster I highly recommend making a muslin first, because I jumped right in and made it from some silk, and ended up wasting it, because the fit was terrible.

Thanks for the advice, and sorry it didn't work out for you I've got some cheap material at home that i plan on making a trial out of, so fingers crossed i can work out how to alter it if it fits badly!!

i posted another link about my tsubi peacocks and how i made them into skinny legs but i'll just put it in here as well!
u just sew up the seam on the inner thigh, never on the outer so that u still have that worn look thats on a lot of jeans. and then if there smuch colour difference where the seams meet then just get some sandpaper and start sanding, OR get some denim fader or bleach and get a brush and start brushing it on, fading it out as u go...
voila.. skinny leg jeans
