Alannah Hill Winter 07 - Page 7
Question:
Hi all, I'd taken a little break from the forum but I'm back, so if you have any photos you'd like to contribute to the album, please let me know so that I can start adding them. Any idea why the colour of the tags has been changed? Welcome back love Hope you had a good break Answer: Yesterday I picked up the She Flipped Out cardi in teal and Sweet Sensations top in black Answer: Originally Posted by katisha Hi all, I'd taken a little break from the forum but I'm back, so if you have any photos you'd like to contribute to the album, please let me know so that I can start adding them. Katisha - I had a pink Fiddle top a few pages back; you're welcome to use it for the album As for the tags, AH changes her tags every a few seasons though... it was initially this dark burgundy with teal Arial font, then it became the cream with red font, then the dotted teal with the choc running font and now, stripey cream with a red running font I guess they prolly felt they needed a change. Actually I like the new tags and bags - it looks more sophisticated Answer: Originally Posted by katisha Hi all, I'd taken a little break from the forum but I'm back, so if you have any photos you'd like to contribute to the album, please let me know so that I can start adding them. Any idea why the colour of the tags has been changed? Hiya, Katisha The new tags and bags are lovely. They're white and cream stripe, with cherry red script. The bags are absolutely stunning - the handle is a divine thick cherry satin ribbon. I think the sides of the bag are cherry with cream spots -but I can't remember now. I think Catgut's right - Alannah probably just felt like a chnage. Actually the new bags, etc. probably reflect AH style more than the teal and choc ones did -they're more 'old school' Alannah Hill, if that makes sense. Answer: The Strand store was still using the old bags when I went. Must go and have a look. Originally Posted by Jamtart Hiya, Katisha The new tags and bags are lovely. I have to check out the tags now, it all sounds too interesting. I remember the tags with the other font, I have to say I love the curly one more. I'll be adding pics to the album soon, I'll make a new section for the season, etc. Will post again when it's updated. Answer: I dropped by yesterday at the Paddington store. Lots of beautiful clothes and its only the first drop! I've noticed the Love a Three Way belt is back, but with stars this time. I dont think it looks as stunning as the circle and heart onces though. Answer: I ventured into Claremont today for the first time since the new season arrived. My jaw literally dropped as soon as I walked in! I don't think I have gotten that excited since A/W 2005! So many beautiful pieces, but I was adament I wasn't going to layby the entire drop. So I just laybyed a few things: - 'Beverly Hills Princess' tulle cami in antique pink with black/silver beading ($199). This usually isn't my style but when worn under a cropped cardi, the beading stands out so beautifully, so naturally I had to get it. This cami is also available in black tulle, but I thought the pink version was a lot more striking. - 'Fresh as a Daisy' silk chiffon skirt in antique green - layered silk with daisy cut-outs and silk satin trim along the bottom as well as a silk sash around hips ($329). This is also available in a violet colourway which is a perfect winter colour. Alannah also made a sheer dress version of this skirt. - 'All Stitched Up' silk cami ($229). A mishmash of colours (I got the pink/cherry colourway) and fabrics - there's beaded detail, sequins, a ruby silk bow at the shoulder, ruby scallop hem, and a row of silk buttons at the side hem. The front is a combination of silk and floral cotton applique. The cami also comes in an antique green/baby blue colourway. The bags are also to die-for. With regards to sizing and pricing, I think everything so far is pretty much true to size and as mentioned, prices are really reasonable! Answer: i think i am falling in love with alannah hill again. i can't wait to get back instore and check it out. and those new bags sound divine.
