Tim O'Connor Black Shirtdress - Page 2
Question:
I think the Tim O'Connor dress is gorgeous but a bit pricey for what it is!

Answer:
Yay Finally people who share a similar love for the FCUK shirtdress as I do
LovinLife what size did you buy?
Im usually and 8/10 with a little bit of boob (C cups)
Do you think I should go the 8 or the 10?
TIA

Answer:
There was a thread about this fcuk shirt dress last month. Someone actually found a photo in the newspaper of a girl wearing it, and she looked pretty hot.
I tried it on instores and would have got it if there was my size...slightly sheer but great cut. Have purchased it online, so can't wait.
Think it looks a bit more casual then the Tim Connor one. The material has a tiny bit rougher, linen feel?

That was me
I still have the pic in my little "book of style".
Once I go back to work, it will be the first thing I buy
Having never tried anything on from French Connection do they run true to size? I just dont want to buy it and have the fit be compromised after I have been lemming it for so long.

Answer:
yeh, fcuk is pretty true to size.
i tried a lot of their bottoms and its a perfect fit, so when i tried their size 10 shirtdress, it was what i expected a tad large. haven't tried on size 8 which i bought online, but have high expectations it will b perfect.

Answer:
The T O'C is gorg but as people have said very pricey. I don't know about the FCUK as corporate wear, however i think that if you find a beautiful, A-line shirtdress in a flattering, tailored cut it's worth investing in as it's something you will get a lot of wear out of, that looks professional but isn't the old pants-and-shirt combo. $500+ is prob a bit overboard, but if you find a great one it's worth investing

Answer:
is that tim o'connor dress current season?? because i've seen it on ebay for the last month or two! here's the auction...
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Gorgeous-TIM-...QQcmdZViewItem
(only ended last week but she's been relisting it for over a month?)

Answer:
Well, that ebay seller said it's from the past season (06) but the TOC website says it's part of the Winter 07 collection... Too bad it was a 12, I'm an 8...
I figure the $550 could be better spend on my upcoming trip to Hong Kong...\
EDIT: Found an old thread here, must be an old season then!

Answer:
That FCUK one just looks like a shirt on me, and on the pic that was from the old thread. It looks like someone forgot to put pants on. I'm nearly 5'11 and could never wear it but someone shorter than me id imagine would look more shirt-dress than just shirt
