hmm i dont think myer is like target at all really. the pitt st one still carries many aus/international designers. this is only a few designers defecting out of soo many that myer carries. media sensationalising, i think.

I find it weird that its in the basement though...to me, the basement is for chain store labels (haaate it down there) i.e. Industrie, Bardot, Mooks, not for $240 Shak dresses and skirts

I much prefer the customer service at Myer than Djs though...whenever I ask for help there, the djs SA's (except for a very few exceptions) are totally clueless about any of the clothes that I'm talking about. I've lost count of how many rude SA's I've encountered at the Elizabeth St store
Whereas I've never had a negative experience shopping at Myer. Also their lay-by fee is alot cheaper than Djs too
