^^^ i wish i could be like you in that respect outrageous... I think i'm an obcessive compulsive hoarder i take after my mother... plus fashion goes in circles so what i don't wear now, i probably will in 5 or 10 or 20 years time that is if i still have the same figure i do now... i don't really like my chances though

I'm the same, if I don't feel great in it, or it doesn't fit, out it goes. It makes getting dressed a whole lot easier. I find if you don't try and fit yourself into fashions, and instead aim to get fashion to fit you, then you'll have very few "I have nothing to wear" days.
Unless of course you're like me, and forget to wash your clothes.

I'm a bit of a hoarder, but I try to only keep the good stuff, and it does pay off.
This year I've resurrected boots from 1987 and 1993. I've also dug out Comme des Garcons knits from 1990/1991, Westwood from the early 90s and a Katherine Hamnett jumpsuit from 1988 (I may even dare to wear it, although it's probably best left for my daughter )
I'm the same size and shape I was 20 years ago, more or less. So if you've got some great clothes, keep them. Even if you don't wear them again your kids will love them one day

i found myself nodding at all the statistics, such as women having 2 pairs of jeans they dont like, or having at least 5 t shirts that i dont wear. its all me!
i do have a lot of clothes that are ill fitting/completely outdated, but i ALSO have discovered ebay, and dedicated my time to getting rid of clothes and other things in order to.. buy more clothes

Most of the clothes I own have a sentimental feel and value to me, and I would rather keep them or exchange them with friends who are the same size.
Others are in a state that I don't think will fetch much on ebay anyway. But it's good to hear that that's an option to make more room to shop for more clothes
