Question:
Hi girls, having missed out on the Chloe ankle tie platform wedges (and Senso copies) I still love the chunky wooden platform wedges, esp with cute short A-line 60s dresses.
I'm looking at Mollini's patent ones with ankle strap, or these Steve Maddens.

to be honest, whether or not you buy them is up to you.
if you love them and will love to wear them get them - don't be swayed by what's "in" fashion and by what everyone else thinks is "in".
i say make your own style and wear what you love!

Thanks girls... the Mollini ones have a wooden base, black patent leather and ankle strap = stunning but not on the website for some reason.
Loving your advice BTW. Just haven't seen ANYONE wearing them, so had to stop and wonder.

I like em - I think I'll get the el cheapo Shoo Biz version though - they are all patent and more of a Marc Jacobs copy. I like the Country Road ones too - but for some reason they look way clumpier on me than the Shoo Biz ones.
I think people aren't wearing them yet as they are really a winter shoe.

Kateydid16, where did you buy yours? Are they patent or regular??? What are you planning to wear them with????

I want to like them as I think they are cute but then I think about where I would wear them and I don't think they fit into my life so I hate them and everyone that owns them though I must admit I have not seem anyone wearing any but I am also not on the lookout!
I guess I could get some and put them with all the other stuff in my wardrobe that looks good but does not fit into my life
