Hey, also outta curiousity, how do you know so accurately how far you're pregnant? (Always wondered this...) Thanks?

Youn find out the number of days in your cycle (av is 28 days) and the first day of your cycle is the first day of your period...aprrox 14 days after that you ovulate...your pregnanacy is taken from that first day of the last period.

When you have your first ultrasound (for me this was at my first obstetrician appointment) they measure the size of the little blob, and can tell you pretty much to the day how pregnant you are, and therefore your due date.
Apparently all embryos grow at much the same rate in the very early stages.

My due date turned out to three weeks later than I thought from my cycle dates.

Thats so exciting, i recall my first ultrasound at around 12wks, feels so ong ago now, it was amazing. I had my last scan about 3wks ago, in 4D, it was optional i just wanted to see my little boy one last time before he arrives in 6wks. That was just incredible, we had it taped, got pics also of his face, it is so clear, he looks like me, has my big lips I was hoping he look like hubby, so cute to have both my little men look alike We'll find out for sure in about 6 weeks I spose. I just wish time would hurry up!!
